The journey of Alen Becirovic
My professional journey began with the hotel industry when I graduated from the Higher Vocational School for Hospitality and Tourism in Slovenia.
To delve even deeper into the world of hospitality and management, I attended the KV Business School Administration program in Zurich and then the Cornell University SC Johnson College of Business.
These studies gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and at the same time apply the skills I gained in my daily business.
My professional career started with working in hotels in the Slovenian Alps.
There I learned all the skills required to work in the industry. I then completed an internship in the USA.
Now it was time to follow my dream and move to Switzerland, where I worked at Villa Honegg for several years. It was immediately clear that I wanted to continue working in the best hotels in Switzerland in order to learn from the best. So it was only natural that my next employers were the Parkhotel Vitznau in Lucerne, followed by the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz and the famous Baur au Lac in Zurich.
